Week 1 | Maya Intro and Surfboard
Hey 100B-ers
Here you will find the promised surfboard tutorial as we began in class today
(1/21). Follow the steps carefully. Remember: your completed surfboards are
to be emailed to Alexis by Wednesday at 6pm (email address
below). We will choose a few to print and bring them for you on Friday at which
point we will talk more about the 3D printers.
Should you encounter difficulties modeling, follow these steps:
1. Work it out with someone
2. Consult the help file (F1)
3. Try the Alias' online support: http://www.alias.com/eng/support/index.jhtml
This is a good resource. Check out the User to User
Discussions.
4. And finally, in utter desperation, email Josh or Alexis
